- Identifying and resolving problems.
- Increase monitoring for areas of concern by specialized patrol techniques, radar trailer information, and citizen input. To report an area of concern, use our Hot Spot Report form.
- Establishing proactive, long-term solutions that take into consideration input from citizens, other departments in the village, the community service officer, street department, and trustees.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
- Supervisors from each shift will establish to their officers the areas of concern, and assign them to subdivision(s) where the concerns are the greatest. Officers will also possess knowledge of where concerns have been presented to the police department in the past, along with areas that the police officers feel are of great importance for presence.
- Supervisors will monitor traffic safety data and respond accordingly.
